I've turned to orajel when both of my boys were teething. They have been around for 40 years, so of course I feel like I can trust their products. Rowan is working on his eye teeth, which I think are the worst of them all. 3 of them have finally broken through, but we are still waiting for the last one. Orajel has a new teething gel out - cooling cucumber teething gel. I was anxious to give it a try and see if it gave Rowan and relief.

The RazBerry Teether resembles a raspberry and although it doesn't taste like one, it really helps babies with teething.
Pros: The RazBerry Teether is made of a food grade silicon which I think is a great idea. It has a bumpy texture that that resembles a raspberry which really helps massage your baby's gums. The first time I gave this teether to Rowan, it was an instant hit. He is working on two more bottom teeth and he immediately started chewing on it. He pulled it out of his mouth, looked at the bright colors and went right back chewing on it. I really think it gives him some relief. I like that this is designed somewhat like a pacifier. He can chew on it while he is crawling across the room. It fits in his mouth nicely and he also loves to look at the bright colors. And did I mention it looks super cute in his mouth? On the packaging, it says that it can be frozen for extra soothing comfort. This is a great idea and gives your baby the bumpy texture while also cooling their gums. A great idea is to get a pacifier clip and clip this to your baby for teething, even if they don't take a pacifier. That way you always have teething comfort right at hand!
Cons: This looked a little big at first like it might be a bit bulky, but it works great for my 9 month old. I can see how it might be a bit big to put in a 4 or 5 month old baby's mouth who is teething.
The Bottom Line: A great teething alternative to other toys and pacifiers. For more information visit the RazBerry Teether site.

I've always felt bad that little babies have to go through the teething process. It causes them pain and they don't even know why. I had these teething tables recommended by a friend and decided to try them.

Coffea Cruda 3X HPUS - for wakefulness and diuresis
Belladonna 3X HPUS (0.0003% Alkaloids) - for redness and inflammation

I first started using these with Chandler. They were hard to find at the time and I only knew about them as my sister informed me of them. It seems like you can find these just about anywhere now.
Pros: The basis of this product is to allow your child to enjoy all sorts of foods without posing a choking hazard. The product design includes a mesh bag and a lid with a rubberized teething ring that snaps shut. They are easy to hold onto and are a good size for little hands. I have put all sorts of foods in these including, bananas, apples, ice, peaches, pears, raw vegetables, and more I'm sure that I can't think of now. It has let my babies enjoy fresh foods without the hazard of choking. It is also wonderful for teething if you put an ice cube in it. You can put this in the dishwasher on the top rack and they hold up fairly well. We are using the same feeder with Rowan that we used with Chandler. They are recommended for use from about 6 months.
Cons: I've heard many people complain that these are extremely difficult to clean. I've also read other reviews that have this complaint as well. I don't think they are that difficult to clean, as long as you do it while the food is still fresh. Of course if you let food dry in it, it is going to be difficult to clean out, I think bananas are the worst. However, if you rinse the bag right after baby is done with it, it is fairly easy clean up. The cap is a little hard to open too, but I would assume that it would be difficult to open as you don't want your baby to be able to open it.
Price: $2.99 - $4.99 depending on where you buy them.
Where to Buy: I've seen these at most retailers and grocers. You can also buy them online at Amazon and Drugstore
