Me Time

It seems like my life has been a LITTLE more than hectic lately! And I've been a blog slacker.  I really do have good excuses :)  First of all, it's called two little boys who I chase all day long.  Secondly, I decided to go back to work.  I'm sure some of you are feeling the stress of the economy.  I know we are. Although my husband's job seems safe now, we are wanting to start building our savings as much as possible.  I was extended a job last week to work in an Emergency Room as a Health Unit Coordinator, aka Ward Clerk.  It is 2 nights a week which will give us some extra money and peace of mind.  This is a little bit of a change.  I've worked as a Health Unit Coordinator before, but it was on a mom baby unit.  Hmmm....newborn babies to emergency situations? This should be an interesting change working in an ER.    So if it seems that I am a little loopy sometimes, you can assume that I might be operating on little to no sleep.  I started orientation today and boy am I tired!  I could use a nice bubble bath right now and a box of chocolates.  I definitely need a little bit of "me" time.  Speaking of bubble baths and chocolates, I think it's about time for a giveaway for all you mamas!  I'm sure many of  you spend your days chasing and taking care of your kiddos on top of everything else.  Kudos to all of you and your hard work!  So I want to know what you do to relax, and what you would do topamper yourself if you could do anything?

Leave a comment and I'll be sure to send the winner something nice.  Maybe bubble bath and chocolates? ;)
PS - If you are a follower or become one, you get an extra entry!!
This giveaway will end 11:59 MST on March 20th.
Winner will be announced on March 21st!

I take long showers. Also I have found that late night crafting sessions with other moms while our husbands watch the kiddos is great fun. (Best on Saturdays or days that you can sleep in)

what I do to relax is probably read a good book or scrapbook..I would go and pamper myself by getting a facial, hair cut, and manicure and then go out to dinner with my husband and baby or a bunch of friends or go to a scrapbook crop night or if we had tons of money...shopping spree

Because our financial situation (aka we are poor) I usually wait until all my family is in bed asleep and then I do facebook and blog to let my mind unwind. I guess you could say that it is my "me" time. Although, my husband doesn't always appreciate me staying up until the wee hours of the night...

Two different things....p1)lay computer games while my children run amuck through out my house and 2)Lock myself in the shower and use all the hot water that is available unlit my digits are pruned. Good luck on working and taking care of children, it is hard work but rewarding in the evenings when they are sleeping peacefully.

some of the things I do to relax are:

Hey Tiffany! I'm a follower already and would love to enter. You have such fun giveaways! When I can relax I love to read and maybe take a bath. I also love getting pedicures or having a night out with the girls. Just spending time alone or with friends and not having to worry about Jordan is super nice for me!

I love to soak in the tub, or curl up in a blanket and watch a movie. Hmmm, and a good craft night is always good...

I like to read or make crafts like hairbows and bracelets. I also use the blogging/facebook thing as a way to unwind as well!

I take long showers when Steve is home, eat chocolate when the kiddo isn't looking, and try to sleep in whenever possible. :) When the weather is nice I like to go on long walks or go running. And I love sitting outside on summer nights after the kids bedtime... it feels sooo goood! I can't wait for summer!
I hope I win. :)

Oops...forgot to mention something in my original comment.

I love to cook! That really is how I relax. What I would so love to do is to go on a weekend getaway trip somewhere - doesn't really matter "where" - but it would be nice to "get away" :)
